Privy is expanding its support for TRON, giving developers more tools to build and operate wallets and financial applications on the network.
TRON has become an important rail for moving stablecoins globally, particularly USDT, with over $94 billion in circulating USDT, approximately $700 billion in monthly stablecoin volume and a total transfer volume approaching $30 trillion across the network.
We’re already seeing that infrastructure put to work by companies building with Privy. Onafriq uses Privy and TRON for treasury operations, moving funds between countries across its African footprint. Paystack is also building with Privy and TRON across treasury and wallet use cases.
As more companies build these experiences, we’re deepening our TRON integration to give developers more of the infrastructure they need to operate at scale.
Developers building on TRON with Privy can now use:
Transaction building and broadcasting to programmatically construct, sign, and broadcast supported TRON transactions
Balance and transaction webhooks to monitor wallet activity
Policy controls including spending limits, recipient allowlists, and transaction approval or restriction controls
Transfers APIs to programmatically move supported assets on TRON
Together, these capabilities make it easier to build and operate stablecoin payments, treasury, and financial products on TRON using Privy.
And there’s more to come. We’re continuing to deepen our TRON integration, with support planned for capabilities including gas sponsorship, unified digital asset accounts, swaps, and x402 payments.
