Today, we are launching prebuilt components for cards: a faster way to add stablecoin-backed consumer cards to your product.
The components give you everything you need to launch the cardholder experience, from onboarding and KYC to card creation, transaction history, and card management, embedded directly into your app through Privy's React SDK. Support for additional SDKs is coming soon.
Behind them is a fully managed card program built on Stripe Issuing, infrastructure that has already supported more than 400 million cards, now brought to stablecoins. Instead of assembling the program yourself, you can integrate once and launch across 25+ countries in as little as a month.

Stablecoin cards are already being used at scale. In July alone, crypto cards processed $759 million across nearly 9 million purchases, up from less than $1 million a month in monthly spend at the end of 2023.
But launching one has remained surprisingly difficult. Behind every tap is an issuing bank, a card network, KYC, fraud controls, settlement, support, and the cardholder experience itself. Bringing those pieces together has typically meant months of bespoke work before a user can make their first purchase.
Prebuilt components package that complexity into a program your team can embed directly into your product.
Teams are already building this kind of experience on Privy. Squads and Vaultleap, for example, pair stablecoin-powered accounts with cards that let consumers spend their balances anywhere Visa is accepted.
Stablecoins make it possible to build financial products for a global user base, but card issuance is still inherently local. Each market comes with its own requirements around issuing, compliance, and cardholder support.
Prebuilt components abstract that complexity behind a single integration. Cards are available across more than 25 countries today, with a goal of expanding to over 100, so you can enter new supported markets without standing up a new card program each time.
Launching a card program typically means coordinating across an issuing bank, program manager, KYC provider, fraud tooling, customer support, and wallet infrastructure. Prebuilt components bring those pieces together behind a single integration.
Cards are issued by Lead Bank, with Bridge as program manager and KYC provider. Stripe provides Issuing, managed cardholder support, and Radar for fraud tooling, while Privy provides embedded wallets and the components that power the experience in your app.
By using prebuilt components for onboarding and card management, your team doesn't need to directly handle sensitive KYC or card data or build the operational workflows behind the program from scratch. What could otherwise require months of reviews and bespoke development can be launched with a React integration in as little as a month.
The components cover the full cardholder journey:
Onboarding with embedded KYC and every required disclosure
Virtual consumer cards, ready for Apple Pay and Google Pay
Balances, transaction history, and downloadable monthly statements
Card management to freeze, replace, and close
Managed phone support, with disputes and inquiries handled for you

Each user gets a Privy embedded, non-custodial wallet, built on the same infrastructure that powers more than 160 million accounts. Their stablecoins stay in their wallet until they spend, with funds pulled just in time when a card transaction is authorized.
That means users don't need to maintain or prefund a separate card balance. They can hold, receive, and manage stablecoins in one place, then spend from that same balance anywhere the card is accepted. You can even let customers spend against yield-generating balances.
Prebuilt components for cards are now live. Start building self-serve in sandbox, then contact us when you’re ready to go to production.
With one integration, launch across 25+ issuing markets in as little as a month and let users spend their stablecoins wherever the card is accepted.
