Today, we’re introducing wallet actions at Privy.
Wallet actions are high-level APIs for common onchain operations like transfers, swaps, and earning yield.
Instead of building and managing transactions yourself, you call a single endpoint, and Privy handles transaction construction, multi-step execution, and gas across chains. This makes it easy to build on crypto rails without dealing with low-level infrastructure.
Crypto rails make it possible to move value instantly, globally, and programmatically. But building on them has required working directly with primitives like RPC calls and raw transaction payloads.
Wallet actions abstract that away. Privy handles transaction construction, execution across chains, and gas management behind a simple, consistent interface so you can focus on your product.
We’re launching wallet actions with support for:
Transfer: Move stablecoins and assets across chains through a simple API.
Swap: Convert assets directly within a wallet without integrating routing, quoting, or execution logic using the Uniswap API.
Earn: Connect balances directly to curated DeFi vaults from Morpho, manage positions, and claim rewards.

Wallet actions are built for teams developing real products such as fintech apps managing user balances, trading platforms executing asset flows, and consumer products integrating payments and rewards. These workflows often require coordinating multiple transactions across systems. Wallet actions reduce that complexity to a single, consistent interface.
At a lower level, blockchains expose raw primitives like signing a transaction or sending a payload. Wallet actions operate one level higher. They let developers express intent, such as transferring funds, swapping assets, or earning yield.

The result is a simpler way to build. Teams can ship faster, reduce integration overhead across chains and providers, and build richer financial experiences directly into their products, while maintaining full control over authorization and execution.
