Accept any token from any chain with a persistent user deposit address

Applications built for crypto-native users share a persistent onboarding problem: getting funds in.

Users hold assets across different chains, exchanges, and  wallets. Moving those funds into your app typically requires bridging, network-switching, and token swaps. Each step presents a new opportunity for drop-off or error. Most of us give up along the way.

Today, we’re excited to launch universal deposit addresses.

Every user can generate a persistent address for funding their wallet with crypto. Users can send assets from exchanges, wallets, or protocols, while Privy handles bridging, swapping, and settlement behind the scenes.

How it works

Your application specifies a destination chain and token. Privy generates a persistent deposit address for each user. When a user sends assets from a chain or wallet, the infrastructure handles the rest:

  • Accepts the inbound transfer

  • Bridges assets to the destination chain

  • Swaps to the required token

  • Deposits funds directly in the user's wallet

The user experience is reduced to a single action: sending crypto to their deposit address.

What developers get

One integration handles global crypto deposits without requiring developers to manage bridging, swapping, or chain-specific infrastructure:

  • Persistent per-user addresses: each user gets receives a single address that works across supported chains

  • Automated bridging and swapping: funds settle as the token and chain your app satisfies

  • No verification flows on deposit: users can fund accounts immediately without KYC on the deposit path

  • Cross-border by default: accept inbound deposits globally without regional restrictions

  • Universal asset support: accept funds from the chains and assets your users already hold

Who this is for

Deposit addresses serve any application where users bring existing crypto holdings into the product:

  • Trading platforms accepting deposits from wallets and exchanges

  • DeFi applications onboarding liquidity from other chains

  • Gaming apps funding player balances from existing holdings

  • Social and creator platforms moving earnings across products

  • AI agent systems receiving programmatic funding from external sources

Get started

Global deposit addresses are live today for all Privy accounts. Give them a spin at demo.privy.io. Enable them in your dashboard and review the funding documentation to start accepting deposits.
