A secure control layer for user self-custody, without changing your product UX

Over the summer we introduced Privy Home: a single hub for users to view and manage their embedded wallets across apps.
Privy Home is designed as a secure control layer for embedded wallets. It gives users visibility and basic controls, without requiring developers to build or maintain complex wallet management and recovery UX as part of their app. Put simply, Privy gives you everything you need to build a powerful experience, with out-of-the-box options for user self-custody and recovery.
Today, Privy Home gets an upgrade whereby users can manage their keys directly from the site.
When enabled, Privy Home enables users to reauthenticate into your product to manage their wallet’s keys. This means:
Users gain a clear path to taking full ownership of their wallet, if they choose
Developers offer strong self-custodial guarantees without redesigning their core UX
Wallet management and recovery live in a dedicated, purpose-built surface rather than inside the app itself
Key management is available today for apps that enable it and EVM/Solana wallets created with Privy*.

Privy Home will continue to evolve as a control layer for embedded wallets based on your requests. Our goal is to make digital asset ownership simple, transparent, and accessible for every user all while enabling developers to easily build secure systems at scale.
