Today, we're introducing Organization Wallets, a new product for developers building modern financial products for businesses.
Over the past few years, Privy has scaled to more than 150 million accounts, powering products across consumer applications, trading, payroll, remittances, and stablecoins.
Many of our customers, including Ramp, Slash, and Onafriq, already use Privy to power wallets for their users: businesses of all shapes and sizes who need tightly integrated workflows to enable fund management across their entire team. This means enabling team members to jointly manage assets, move money with the appropriate controls in place, and manage financial operations together.
Org Wallets make it easier to build these products through a dedicated experience for multi-user financial workflows.
Where wallets are often owned by a single user, Privy enables Org Wallets that belong to a business or other shared entity with multiple associated team members.
Organizations can define shared access, granular permissions, approval workflows, and programmable policies, while choosing the custody model that best fits their needs. Org Wallets extend the same programmable wallet infrastructure that powers Privy today, making it easy to build for organizations alongside individual users and AI agents.
Org Wallets are designed for financial products built for businesses and other multi-user entities.
Examples include:
Business banking: Secure business accounts with shared ownership and approvals.
Treasury management: Manage company funds with programmable permissions and governance.
Spend management: Power multi-user business accounts with delegated permissions and spending controls.
B2B payments: Build products that help businesses send, receive, and manage global payments.
Stablecoins are modernizing business finance, enabling businesses to move money globally, settle instantly, and operate around the clock. Org Wallets provide the programmable wallet infrastructure to bring these financial capabilities into modern business products.
