Announcing Privy for Solana

Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Privy embedded wallets for Solana! We’re excited to be bringing secure, flexible embedded wallets to the ecosystem, leveraging our experience onboarding over 8.5 million users onchain to date.
Solana has paved the way for intuitive consumer-grade products being built onchain and we stand in awe of builders like Sling and Drip, who have built best in class experiences. For us, this launch has been a long time coming. We’re proud to ship Solana support for incredible teams like Tensor (with their Vector launch), Hype, Lore, Baxus, Prerich, and many others!

With this launch, you get the best of Privy’s embedded wallet system on Solana, meaning:
Onboard users with email, sms and social for your app.
Link multiple social profiles to a given Solana account.
Generate (or pregenerate) self-custodial Solana wallets for your users.
Leverage Privy UIs or fully customize signature generation for their wallets.
You can also power cross-chain accounts easily to give your users Solana and EVM-compatible wallets, all with a single provider.
We strive to build idiomatic tooling to empower developers within their chosen stack. For this launch, we focused on the essentials. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be building out more, including wallet connectors for the Solana ecosystem as well as native transaction preparation and submission.
